PCSX-Reloaded for Mac OS X
Part 2: Installing the PS1 bios
Step 1
Now that we have PCSX-R installed, we need to set up the bios that runs it.
The PS1 bios is called SCPH1001.bin, and instructions on how to legally acquire the bios can be found with a quick Google search but will not be posted here.
* Legal note: SpeedofMac.com in no way supports or ensorses the illegal download of PlayStation games or of the PlayStation bios.
Step 2
Next, you'll need to extract the bios by double-clicking on the SCPH1001.zip icon.
This should produce SCPH1001.bin: just what we've been waiting for!
SCPH1001.BIN
Step 3
Next, put SCPH1001.bin in the Bios folder of PCSX Reloaded.
The Bios foler is located in Home/Library/Application Support/Pcsx/Bios. (This folder will be created when you run PCSX-Reloaded for the first time.)
