Part 2: Launching games

Now that Mupen64Plus 1.99.4 is installed, you're almost ready to start playing games. Launching games with MP64+ manually is a little complicated, so we've made it really easy for you. Read on:

Step 1: Download the SpeedofMac MP64+ Launcher

By default, Mupen64Plus 1.99.4 runs only from the command line (Terminal). For everyone who doesn't know much about using Terminal (and even for those that do!), we've thrown together a little application that will do all the terminal work needed to launch a game.

Go to the SpeedofMac MP64+ Launcher page

Step 2: Launch a game

Once you've followed the instructions on the SpeedofMac MP64+ Launcher page, all you have to do is click the "Click to open a rom file" button in the SpeedofMac MP64+ Launcher application, choose your rom file, and you're ready to play!
